Tycoon Slim works well for the price
I picked up the Tycoon Slim 3D Printer and a couple spools of PLA Filament during a holiday sale. The printer works as advertised, and the prints I've done have a nice finish. Assembly was straightforward, maybe an hour or so, and the included instructions were clear enough. The 'silent' stepper drivers are definitely a plus, it's quieter than my old printer. Delivery to my address in Michigan took about a week, which was okay. I did notice the included SD Card for the printer was a bit small, so I ended up using my own larger one pretty quickly. Overall, good value for the money, and the printer performs solidly.
Good quality, minor shipping hiccup
I bought the Tycoon Max 3D Printer with an accessories bundle, including some PETG Filament and a PEI Magnetic Build Plate. The printer itself arrived well-packaged and was mostly pre-assembled, which saved a lot of time. Print quality has been consistently good. I had a question about the Auto Leveling Sensor calibration, so I used their online chat support; they responded within a couple of hours and helped me sort it out. My only small complaint is that the filament arrived a day later than the printer, even though it was all on the same order. Not a huge deal, but worth noting.
